Meet our little Augie Bear! Augie is a 2 year old cardiac warrior with a heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Even though Augie has only half of a heart, he is all fight. This superboy has had 2 open heart surgeries, 2 neurosurgeries, 3 cardiac cath procedures, and a g-tube surgery. Recently, Augie traveled to Boston Children’s Hospital for another heart procedure and was found to be in active heart failure. Augie is currently going through Heart Transplant Evaluations in Boston and is hoping to be listed for his HERO HEART by the end of the year. We have created these amazing tee shirts in Augie’s honor to help raise awareness for organ donation as well as help cover the costs of his transplant journey.
